Crane in Nusfjord, Lofoten

This video is from Nusfjord, Lofoten. It has the best known food sources for the cod. Giving it exceptional quality.

Me and my family is from Northern Norway. And they suffered through the WW2 and got sheltered in Lofoten. But it wasn’t easy. The people of Lofoten had to take care of their own and the food supply was dangerously low.

My body gets filled with thoughtfulness as I walk across the summit of Nusfjord. Suddenly an old Crane approaches and I had to get that captured on videotape and pictures.

The movie itself is in norwegian. But the environment doesn’t need to be explained in words. Thank you Lofoten for giving me this experience of a lifetime.

I like the way the rope is curling with two edges coming in and going out. Symbolizing the cycle of life. Amazing.

A picture of my friend Chris-Roger Hansen. He was a fisherman in his younger days before he became a crane operator. You can see it on the scars.
